Information about the ski bridge at Vemdalsskalet

The ski bridge between Hovde and Hildings Backe at Vemdalsskalet, which crosses Road 315, sustained extensive damage when a heavy vehicle collided with the bridge on January 7. Trafikverket has since assessed the damage as so severe that the bridge must be demolished.

As a result of the collision, Hildings Backe must remain closed until a temporary bridge can be put in place. We are working together with Trafikverket to find a solution as soon as possible.

Other parts of the ski area are not affected, as the ski bridge between Väst Express and Pass Express continues to connect the ski areas.
