Welcome to the new restaurant Pläjset in Vemdalsskalet and Skalspasset. A truly cozy ski lunch place with burgers, hearty sandwiches, pinsa, goulash, schnitzel, meatballs, and delicious pastries on the menu.

Breakfast, lunchtime and evening service at the Hovde Hotell on Skalets torg square, with well-prepared, locally produced food and drinks.

Upstairs you will find Restaurant Skalet Trattoria. Here you can enjoy pasta, a la carte and pizza - all inspired by Italy. A must during your stay is our Italian-inspired fondue. In Bryggeriet, right at the hotel's entrance, you can sink into one of the cosy chesterfield sofas after the day's adventures and enjoy the atmosphere and the large selection of locally produced beer, smoky whiskey and different types of gin. Every Wednesday-Saturday, the Cube is the place to be! We've updated our sound and lighting system and are proud to say that this is Sweden's biggest and best après-ski.

Here you can enjoy freshly baked buns, pastries and delicious lunches. In the evenings we serve our evening bistro menu and refreshing drinks at the bar.

At Fjällsidan, you can enjoy stone-oven baked pizza, pasta and salads along with Italian wines and delicacies from Italy and Norrland.

Fäbokrogen in Klövsjö is located at Klövsjö Vemdalen golf course. Open for lunch and evening meals.

In the bakery's cosy café and shop you can buy hot fresh bread, cakes, handmade pralines from our own chocolate workshop and other goodies. As far as possible all products are baked using organic ingredients without unnecessary additives – just natural ingredients!

The kitchen at the Skalsterrassen restaurant – just a stone's throw from Skalets torg square and the ski slopes – offers Swedish cuisine but with flavours from every corner of the world. Enjoy a relaxed dining experience or quaff a wonderful, hand-mixed cocktail, a glass of wine or a beer from our carefully curated drinks list in our lounge area. If you're hungry, you can choose from our beautifully composed menu based on carefully selected ingredients.

Here we cook Italian food the way it should taste, with Italian ingredients prepared by Italians led by Davide Rotondo. You can also buy delicacies from selected farms in Italy.

New for the 2020-21 winter season! Jakob Carlsson, who runs the Bageriet bakery in Vemdalen village, is now opening a branch in Björnrike. Here you can enjoy freshly baked buns and tasty sandwiches, delicious pizza slices and flavoursome pasta lunches. Fondue is served a couple of nights a week.

At Bräjks Matbar you can enjoy home-baked goodies with coffee and home-made chocolate milk. Enjoy hearty home-cooked lunches and a well thought-out à-la-carte evening menu based on ingredients from Sweden, and ideally Jämtland. Table service all day.

At lunchtime we serve a delicious lunch buffet for the hungry skier. In the evenings we serve our new barbecue buffet with lots of goodies. With us, the whole family should feel comfortable and have a good time. Welcome in!

Coffee and cake with the nomadic Sami in the Björnvallen area. Take the opportunity to familiarise yourself with the Sami culture in the teepee and in the playroom.

In the centre of the slope, by the Pass Express lift, you will find Restaurant Passet, which is open from early morning to late evening. During the day with a cosy café, hearty skier's lunches and wood-fired pizza, which in the evening turns into an Italian steakhouse and à la carte service. At Passet there is après-ski Monday to Saturday and evening entertainment several nights a week. With a focus on high quality, fun and entertainment, there is something for everyone at Passet.

Café & waffle hut at Sångbäcken's summit car park in the Klövsjö ski area. Here you can enjoy home-made cakes, waffles of all kinds, our own wood-fired oven-baked flatbread with smoked rainbow trout, game goulash and much more besides!

Serves coffee & sweet treats and lunch and is fully licensed. Bennys Bistro can be found in the same building as the SkiStarshop Klövsjö.

Mountain inn and bar in the middle of the mountain with great views of the mountain landscape. Arrive by skis or snowmobile, or walk or drive in your own car in summer. Varggransstugan is located about 2 km from Vemdalsskalet.
