Hovde Syd at Vemdalsskalet

Hovde Syd opened for Christmas 2025 and offers more family-friendly skiing at Vemdalsskalet. Here you’ll find the red run Klockars, several blue runs, Snow Park and Fun Ride.

The first stage of Hovde Syd

The first stage of Hovde Syd was completed for Christmas 2025 and covers a ski area of 11 hectares in total. Here you’ll find the red run Klockars in the upper part of the area, several blue runs and a family-friendly park in the lower part. Sydliften takes you easily to the top.

Together with a modern snowmaking system and lighting, Hovde Syd offers excellent conditions for enjoyable skiing throughout the season and more space on the slopes for our guests.

Snow Park and Fun Ride

At Hovde Syd, there is a family-friendly Snow Park with easier features and jumps.
There is also a Fun Ride with jumps, rollers and banked turns – designed for both children and adults.
