An active mountain holiday – made easy with a bike package.
In Åre, biking really takes centre stage. Here you will find a wide range of trails in different difficulty levels, with lift assisted biking from Åreskutan and up to 853 metres of elevation difference. Start on easier trails where you can build confidence and technique, or let the lift take you up to longer descents, bigger views and more speed when you are ready for the next step.
What makes Åre especially strong is that biking has grown here over several decades, shaped by local commitment, competitions, trails and a village where biking is part of everyday life. One day, you can ride through the high zone with magnificent views across the mountains. The next can be all about trail riding, skills practice, jumps and steep turns. Here, biking suits both those who want to progress step by step and those looking to make the trip the biggest biking experience of the summer.
