Three ways to ride in the mountains

At SkiStar, you can experience mountain biking in several ways. Many choose lift assisted mountin biking, where you take the lift up and ride back down on purpose-built trails with flow, speed and varied terrain.

You can also explore trail riding through forests and mountain landscapes, where the experience is more about nature, rhythm and progression at your own pace. Here, you’ll find everything from easy green loops to more technical trails for those looking for a bigger challenge.

If you’d like to practise balance, corners and basic skills, Skill Park is the perfect place to start. Here, kids, beginners and experienced riders can all develop their technique in a safe environment.

The combination of Bike Park, Trail Park and Skill Park makes it easy to find riding that suits your level – whether you’re a beginner, a family on holiday or an experienced rider.

  • Vasaloppet Bike Festival – Cykelvasan 2026

    Welcome to wonderful days filled with activities for all ages where the focus is on cycling. As usual, the Cykelvasa race (Vasaloppet by Bike) takes place on Fridays and Saturdays, but for anyone staying at Lindvallen throughout the week, there’s a substantial range of activities for the whole family.
