New to biking or keen to progress? Our trained bike instructors, SkiStar Guides offer private guides for all levels, with trail and downhill biking.
Certified bike instructors
While many people visit our destinations in winter, not everyone realizes how much fun it can be during the summer. With miles of trails in the woods and mountains, there's something to suit everyone from beginners and families with children to experienced mountain bikers.
Whether you're new to mountain biking or want to improve, a private cycling guide will ensure you have a safe experience, with the objective that everyone has fun. Not everyone wants to feel fear when they ride, and this is of course something your private bike guides take into account. Based on your abilities, you'll be guided through simple challenges to boost confidence before moving to more difficult challenges.

Guide for new trail cyclists
It all starts with safety. A check of the bike is done first to ensure that the equipment is in good condition - this applies regardless of whether you have cycled a lot or not.
The lesson is then structured according to your skill level, whether it's getting to know your bike, learning about technique and simple exercises, or if you have done some cycling and are ready for simple or more advanced trails.
For those who don't have a suitable bike, many people choose to rent a bike at our destinations. These are modern bikes in excellent condition.
Guided mountain biking
Together with our bike instructors, SkiStar Guides, you get a whole new experience from the saddle of a bike. Åre and Sälen offers private guiding in both downhill and trail biking, while in Trysil you can book a guide for trail biking.
