Vemdalen consists of three ski areas, each with its own character and experience:

  • Vemdalsskalet offers a classic mountain feel and a lively atmosphere.

New! Hovde Syd

A family-friendly expansion of the skiing at Vemdalsskalet is taking shape. Stage one of Hovde Syd will open for Christmas 2025 and will offer a red and several blue slopes, as well as a family-friendly park!

Vemdalsskalet

Vemdalsskalet is a picturesque mountain village with sports shops and restaurants, all centred around the square Skalets Torg. Skiing here takes in two mountains, while rapid express lifts whisk you conveniently to the top.

Björnrike

Björnrike is a family-friendly ski area with a large children's area, a SkiStar Snow Park and lots of lodgings right by the slopes. There are a number of restaurants and the ski area is south-facing, which means long sunny days.

Klövsjö and Storhogna

Authentic mountain environment! Klövsjö is known as “The skier’s ski resort”, and in Storhogna you ski on 100% natural snow.
