The snow conditions are good, but the snow cover may be thin in areas with natural snow.
On the slopes beside the piste where gravel has melted through, small stones may slide onto the run, so please stay alert in those areas.
The slopes are currently hard and icy, so it’s a good idea to have well-sharpened edges.

A family-friendly expansion of the skiing at Vemdalsskalet is taking shape. Stage one of Hovde Syd will open for Christmas 2025 and will offer a red and several blue slopes, as well as a family-friendly park!
