Ski School in Trysil

The ski school in Trysil offers lessons for children, teenagers and adults of all ability levels. You can choose between group lessons and private tuition, with meeting points either at Høyfjellssenteret or Turistsenteret. To get the most out of your lesson, it’s important to book the correct area.

Ski lessons tailored to age and ability

In Trysil, ski lessons are available for both beginners and more experienced skiers. Tuition is adapted to the participant’s age, ability level and goals, whether you choose group lessons or private instruction.

Lessons take place in safe and well-prepared areas, with a focus on confidence, technique and enjoyment. Through the ski school, lessons are available in alpine skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing for children, teenagers and adults.

Two ski areas – choose the right meeting point

The ski school has meeting points at both Høyfjellssenteret and Turistsenteret. There is some distance between the two areas, so we recommend checking the meeting point carefully before booking.

Ski school at Høyfjellssenteret

Høyfjellssenteret in Fageråsen is suitable for both group lessons and private tuition. The meeting point depends on age and lesson type.

  • Group alpine skiing lessons, ages 3–9: Conveyor lift (FR6)
  • Group alpine skiing lessons, age 10+ and snowboarding age 8+: Bottom of the Familietrekket lift (F12)
  • Intro to Skiing: Conveyor lift (FR6) for ages 3–9, Familietrekket (F12) for age 10+
  • Private lesson: Bottom of the Familietrekket lift (F12)

Ski school at Turistsenteret

Turistsenteret is a popular area for families and has dedicated meeting points adapted to different age groups.

  • Group lessons, ages 3–6: Conveyor lift (TR2)
  • Group lessons, age 7 and up: Top of Fryvil (T4)
  • Intro to Skiing: Conveyor lift (TR2) for ages 3–6, Fryvil (T4) for age 7+
  • Private lesson: Meeting point at Turistsenteret

Important information before booking

All participants aged 7 and over must have a valid SkiPass to attend ski school. Booking in advance is recommended to secure a place and the correct meeting point.
