Train to Sälen

From the 2026/27 winter season, you can travel by train all the way to the Sälen mountains. With Snälltåget you travel to Mora and continue by transfer bus to Sälen – the transfer is included and takes around 2–2.5 hours.

Travelling by train to the mountains is a comfortable choice. During the winter season, you travel with Snälltåget to Mora and continue by transfer bus to Sälen. The transfer is included in your train journey and takes around 2–2.5 hours.

How the journey works

You travel without changing trains all the way to Mora station. On arrival, you continue by transfer bus to Sälen. Timetables and routes may vary – always check the latest information when booking.
