Travel by train to SkiStar's resorts
If you are travelling from outside Scandinavia, the most practical option is often to connect with the rail network in Stockholm, Copenhagen/Malmö or Oslo. Which connection works best depends on the resort you are travelling to.
- Train to Åre directly to the station in the centre of the resort.
- Train to Vemdalen with bus transfer via Röjan or Östersund.
- Train to Sälen with bus transfer via Mora.
- NEW: Train to Trysil via Oslo.

Book your train journey with SkiStar
Selected Snälltåget journeys can be booked directly with SkiStar. When bus transfer is included in the journey, you book the train and transfer together.

Other rail connections may be more convenient depending on where your journey begins. SJ also operates day and night trains on several routes towards the Swedish mountains.
