Choose the journey that suits you

If a direct flight to Scandinavian Mountains Airport is available from your departure point, flying provides the shortest onward journey, with transfers of around 10–25 minutes to the ski areas.

Travelling by car gives you more flexibility and is particularly useful if you are bringing plenty of luggage or ski equipment. From continental Europe and Finland, a ferry can form a convenient part of the drive to Sälen.

Within Sweden, Sälen can also be reached by coach or by train to Mora with an onward transfer to the ski areas.
