Duved is located in the westernmost part of Åredalen. The pace is slower and the slopes are long, wide and well-groomed. It has its own train station and many of our lodgings here offer extra value. The piste network is interconnected with Tegefjäll and ski buses take you to central Åre quickly.
Staying in Duved/Tegefjäll
When staying in Duved and Tegefjäll you will usually be in your own cabin or apartment. Most are located right by the ski slopes, the price is lower than in the rest of Åre and the area has a quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
The skiing
In Duved and Tegefjäll most slopes are reds or blues. Two chairlifts take you to the top and there are T-bar lifts between Duved and Tegefjäll. Large parts of the ski area are below the tree line, which makes skiing and boarding pleasant even in windy conditions or poor visibility. Many of the slopes are wide and well suited to large carving turns. When it snows the area offers really good skiing through the trees.
Children's areas
Duved
Duved's children's area can be found in the lower part of the ski area. There is an easy button lift, a conveyor belt and easy children's slopes with soft shapes. Children in Duved's children's area will meet Valle several days a week.

Tegefjäll
Tegefjäll is home to a wilderness trail (Vildmarksstigen). On the trail, children follow beavers, foxes and horses on an adventure through the woods.
Snow Parks & Fun Ride
The nearest Snow Park is located in Åre village, in the Bräcke area.
In Åre you'll find a Fun Ride with jumps, bumps and velodromes that are built to suit everyone, from small children and beginners to advanced skiers. The Fun Ride is located at piste number 54 in Rödkullen/Bräcke.
