Who are the SkiStar guides?

In short, SkiStar Guides are our ski guides, bike guides and instructors who provide ski lessons, cycling courses, climbing park experiences and much more.

SkiStar Guides want to enhance your experience with us with great knowledge and commitment, and give you the opportunity to grow and to experience things you may not otherwise have done. With a familiarity with everything our destinations have to offer and the unique experiences of each destination, our guides give you that "little extra" that makes your mountain holiday special.

SkiStar Guides are passionate about providing a safe and personal experience. With ample knowledge, training, experience, equipment and technique, they create unique experiences accessible to everyone, regardless of age and skill level, all year round.

Ski school

Ski school is available for all levels and ages. Hone your technique in a private lesson or learn together in a group ski school.

Ski experiences

There are a wide range of activities to enjoy on our slopes, ranging from skiing before the ordinary opening hours to full day off-piste tours.

Private bike guide

New to biking or keen to progress? Our trained bike instructors, SkiStar Guides offer private guides for all levels, with trail and downhill biking.

Climbing parks

Bring your family or friends for a real challenge among the tree tops. Try one of our high-altitude courses or zip down the zipline.

Trysil Guides become SkiStar Guides

The Trysil Guides, which have a ski school, bike guides, rafting and a climbing park in Trysil, as well as events, courses and guide activities, will become a part of SkiStar Guides from winter 2023/24.

Same products, same employees

As a guest, you will not notice any major changes. SkiStar Guides in Trysil offers ski school, private ski lessons and a functional skiing and park intro, as well as event activities in winter. As always, winter products can be booked via skistar.com, and if you have already booked ski school for your winter ski holiday, you don't need to do anything. There will be the same meeting places, the same contact points and a large part of the Trysil Guides' staff will now be SkiStar Guides. You will meet the same knowledgeable and experienced guides as always.

Adaptive skiing

In Sälen, Trysil, Åre and Hemsedal we offer ski lessons tailored to all different types of permanent functional variations. Lessons are available in seated-skiing, ski-carting, bi-skiing and standing skiing at all of the above destinations.
