Book with confidence with SkiStar's alpine snow guarantee 2025/26

Our alpine snow guarantee applies at our ski resorts and allows you to reschedule your trip or receive a refund if we are unable to deliver the promised alpine ski product.

How the Alpine Snow Guarantee Works

Our ski resorts all have unique geographical locations with different conditions. If the ski resort you booked your trip to does not meet the Alpine Snow Guarantee, you can choose to rebook to another of our ski resorts.

The Snow Guarantee applies from 13 December 2025 to 12 April 2026.

Guaranteed minimum – number of open slopes

We guarantee the following minimum number of open slopes during this period:

Sälen
At least 15 open slopes, in total across Lindvallen, Högfjället, Tandådalen, and Hundfjället.

Åre
At least 10 open slopes, in total across Duved, Åre village, and Björnen.

Vemdalen
At least 8 open slopes, in total across Björnrike, Vemdalsskalet, and Klövsjö/Storhogna.

Hemsedal
At least 9 open slopes.

What happens if the Snow Guarantee is not fulfilled?

If we cannot deliver the promised alpine ski product, you have the right to cancel or interrupt your stay and get your money back. This applies until 11:00 the day after arrival.
