Vemdalsfinalen - the end of the season

After a wonderful season of skiing and great experiences, the ski season ends with the Vemdalsfinalen, which this year offers après-ski, pond races, masked differential slalom and outdoor lunches in the sun.

Vemdalsfinalen in Björnrike

The family-friendly Björnrike ski area is often a crowd favourite, with everything from a children's area to a Snow Park and accommodation right on the slopes. 

When spring is here, the sun stays out well into the day, so you can enjoy socialising and eating with loved ones in the sunshine.

Weekend Program!

Whether you’re an experienced skier, a beginner, or a happy spectator, there’s something for everyone. It will be an action‑packed and memorable long weekend for the whole family.

Thursday, April 9

• 15:00 – Afterski
  At Bageriet, Bräjks and SkiClub.
• 21:00–23:00 – Late Night Skiing (Mittbacken and Storslalombacken)
  An experience beyond the ordinary! Evening skiing is free for anyone with a SkiPass valid on the day.

Friday, April 10

• 09:30 – Björnrikestörten (Nedre störtloppet)
  Björnrikestörten is a downhill race open to everyone!
  Families with children can enjoy the day together as Valle will be on site. Groups of friends can compete against each other, and companies can take the opportunity for memorable teambuilding. Don’t miss the chance to win great raffle prizes drawn among all participants, regardless of class.

• 14:00 – BJR Slopestyle Competition in SkiStar Snowpark (Gråhogna)
  Registration at the Gråhogna lift from 13:00.
• 15:00 – Afterski
  At Bageriet, Bräjks and SkiClub.

Saturday, April 11

• 10:00 – Maskeraddifferens (Bamse, Björnvallen)
  Come in costume and try to ski two runs in as similar time as possible. Everyone is welcome to participate! Prize for best costume. Registration at the start.
• 12:30 – Junior Dammrace (Mittbacken)
  A popular version of the Splash Race, but for our younger skiers. All children of all ages are welcome to try crossing our mini‑pond without getting wet. Registration in the Björnidet warming hut from 09:00–10:00.
• 14:00 – The Dammrace (Björnidet)
  Come watch the staff throw themselves down the slope in full costume and make the season’s first splash. Big show and lots of laughs guaranteed!
• 15:00 – Afterski
  At Bageriet with Smalare än Thord, Bräjks and SkiClub.

There will also be plenty of other fun during the weekend – including après‑ski with dancing, food and drinks, and Valle activities.
