Climbing park in Trysil
Bring your family or friends for an active day out filled with exciting challenges in our climbing park in Trysil, which we run together with Høyt og Lavt. The climbing park offers a combination of high-rope courses, ziplines, play and adventure.
Discover Trysil Climbing Park
The climbing park has nine different courses with varying levels of difficulty:
- Orange – the easiest course
- Green – an easy course
- Blue – an intermediate course
- Red – the most advanced course
In the park you will find 96 obstacles, placed both among the treetops and on the ground. You can also zip through the air on 11 ziplines.
Duration: One session in the climbing park lasts 2.5 hours.
New for summer 2026
This summer, a new climbing tower opened in the climbing park. The tower has four climbing walls with different levels of difficulty and is included when you book a session in the climbing park. Speak to a guide on site if you would like to try climbing.
Age and height requirements
Minimum age: 3 years.
- Orange course: Minimum 80 cm, always accompanied by a guardian.
- Green courses and the climbing tower: Minimum 110 cm.
- Blue and red courses: Minimum 140 cm.
Perfectly located by Turistsenteret
The climbing park is centrally located by Turistsenteret, where you will also find Trysil Bike Arena and Trysil golf course – perfect for a full day of activities.

Safety conditions for the climbing park »
In case of hard wind and thunderstorms
In the event of strong winds and thunderstorms, the climbing park may need to close. If we need to cancel your booked climbing time before the specified starting time, we will contact you via text and the full amount will be refunded for the activity booked.
We are not able to decide on the day before whether the climbing park will be open or not, but as soon as we find out whether the climbing park will need to be closed during your booked time, we will contact you via text.
