Evening skiing in Åre
Some ski days deserve to last a little longer. When darkness settles over Åreskutan and the lights come on across the slopes, skiing takes on a special atmosphere.
On selected evenings, you can continue skiing after regular opening hours. Evening skiing takes place on floodlit slopes, and which lifts are open varies between ski areas and periods during the season.
To take part, you need a valid SkiPass or an evening lift pass.
Evening skiing in Åre by
In Åre by, evening skiing is available with VM8:an and Bräckeliften with Garden.
- Days: Mondays and Fridays
- Period: 14 December–12 March
- Time: 18:00–20:00
- Lifts: VM8:an (Å22) and Bräckeliften (Å21) with Garden
Evening skiing in Duved
In Duved, evening skiing is available with Duveds Linbana and Hamreliften. Byliften is also open for a short period in connection with evening skiing.
- Days: Tuesdays and Saturdays
- Period: 15 December–13 March
- Time: 18:00–20:00
- Lifts: Duveds Linbana (D3) and Hamreliften (D2)
- Byliften (D1) is open 17:45–18:30
Floodlit slopes
During evening skiing, only floodlit slopes are open. The selection of open lifts and slopes may vary depending on weather, snow conditions and operational conditions.
