Evening skiing

Experience skiing after dark. On selected evenings, illuminated slopes and lifts stay open in the evening, so you can extend your ski day with atmospheric runs on the mountain.

Evening skiing is ideal if you want to get more out of your ski day. When darkness falls, illuminated slopes open for a calmer and more atmospheric skiing experience.

Ski after dark

At selected destinations, you can ski in the evening on certain lifts and slopes. Some places offer classic floodlit evening skiing, while Sälen offers Magic Mountain – a family-friendly evening experience on Valleberget.

The offer varies between destinations, and times may change during the season. Keep up to date with today’s opening hours in the SkiStar app.

Evening skiing in Norway and Sweden

Evening skiing in Trysil is included in your SkiPass and runs on selected evenings from December to April. Several lifts operate on both sides of the mountain during the period.

In Hemsedal, evening skiing takes place on freshly groomed slopes on selected Fridays from December to March. There are also certain periods with extended opening hours.

In Åre, you can ski on illuminated slopes in Åre by and Duved from December to March. There are also extended opening hours around Christmas, the winter holiday and Easter.
