Limit your close contacts with others, spend your time with your own group, plan your day on the slopes together, both meals and other activities.

Registration

  • You must register before arrival at entrynorway.no at the earliest 3 days before arrival. This applies to anyone over 16 years of age.

Testing

  • As the main rule, everyone should test themselves for Covid-19 on arrival, regardless of age and vaccination status
  • If it is not possible to test yourself at the border on arrival, you must test yourself within 24 hours of arrival.
  • Rapid tests can be used and guests are encouraged to bring their own rapid tests from their home country, but the test should only be done after arrival at the destination.
  • In the event of a positive test result on a rapid test, a PCR test must be performed as soon as possible at the municipal test station and no later than within 24 hours

Lift and lift queues

  • We adapt the queues to maintain a distance between the guests/groups. Maintaining a 1 metre distance between the guests/groups in the queue is also recommended.
  • Masks covering mouth and nose are recommended if a distance of 1 metre cannot be maintained.

SkiStarshop (ski rental):

  • We offer a digital queuing system. Everyone is encouraged to keep their distance and we follow the current rules and number of restrictions in the premises. See information at each destination on what applies for pick-up and return of pre-ordered equipment.

Restaurants, cafés and bars

  • Table service and ordering via apps/QR codes.  Several restaurants offer take away.  We recommend that you pre-book a table for dinner.
  • Stay up-to-date with each actor for their current rules

Masks

  • In indoor environments such as the ski bus, in shops, shopping centres, taxi etc. where it is not possible to maintain distance, you need to wear a mask covering your mouth and nose (this does not apply to children under 12 years of age).

Heated shelters

  • limited availability.  Extra cleaning and maintenance is included. 
  • Smaller heated shelters are closed.

Children and Valle activities

  • Valle will continue to be active and ski in the children's area. However, he will not be able to perform his show due to limitations on events. Unfortunately, the children's daycare is not open this winter, but the ski school is available for children and young people. Don't forget to book in advance. 

Radisson Hotels and SkiStar Lodge Hemsedal:

  • Hotels and Lodges are open. We follow current restrictions at all times. Bowling, pool and other, similar activities are open. 

Ski bus 

  • Ski bus - we follow the guidelines for public transport and there is a requirement wear a mask covering mouth and nose

Rules for entry into Sweden after 28 December

As of 28 December, all non-Swedish citizens must pass a negative test on arrival at the border. This applies regardless of whether you are staying in or travelling through Sweden and regardless of your vaccination status and/or whether you have previously had Covid-19.

When you are traveling home from your holiday

When traveling from our destinations in Trysil and Hemsedal to or via Sweden. Anyone not a Swedish citizens must have documented an approved negative Covid-19 test on arrival at the border. Link to the Swedish page with rules for entry to Sweden
