It will be ready to transport guests from the children's area Eventyr up the mountain as early as season 25/26.

Norway's largest ski resort, Trysil, has always been for everyone, from beginners to experienced skiers. The new gondola will make the skiing experience more comfortable and accessible for all types of guests, whether you're coming to enjoy the fantastic slopes, experience the après-ski culture or be active with your family. The Trysil gondola will mean less waiting time and more time for skiing for our guests.

-We started this year by investing in a brand new SkiStar Snow Park, which will be of World Cup standard, with a new lift, lights and snow production. We have started developing the ski slopes down towards the children's area Eventyr, where the gondola will start. Now we're taking the next big step in the development of the ski resort with a new gondola," concludes Gudrun Sanaker Lohne, Destination Manager SkiStar Trysil.

There will also be a significant upgrade with the latest technology in snow production in the area to ensure optimal snow conditions for skiing. The new gondola is the largest single investment in the history of both Trysil and SkiStar - a milestone for the development of Trysil and an enhancement of the skiing experience for guests.

We are very pleased to be able to realize this major project, which is part of our long-term plan for the development of our destinations. The new gondola sets a new standard for the guest experience in Trysil and is an investment for the future and strengthens our competitiveness in the alpine industry," says Stefan Sjöstrand, CEO of SkiStar.
