1. Hike with beautiful views

Hiking is one of the best things about the mountains in summer. At our destinations, you will find trails for short walks, family-friendly outings and longer mountain hikes with beautiful views.

2. Bike out in nature

Many people are surprised by how easy and enjoyable biking in the mountains can be. With a modern hire bike, helmet and a private guide, you get a safe start and tips suited to the group’s level, whether you want a family activity or a ride with friends.

3. Climb in a high ropes course with zip lines

A climbing park is a fun summer activity for both children and adults. Our climbing parks have courses of different difficulty levels, from easier obstacles for younger children to more challenging courses and zip lines for anyone who wants to test their balance and head for heights.

4. Try rafting in Trysil

Rafting is an action-filled adventure on the water. In Trysil, adults and children from the age of 6 can join family rafting in Trysil and experience the river with experienced guides.

5. Roll marbles in Valle’s marble runs

In Eventyrparken in Trysil, you will find Valle’s marble runs, a playful family activity where children can roll marbles through different tracks and test speed, balance and teamwork.

It is a perfect stop for families who want to add something simple, fun and a little different between bigger mountain activities. The marbles are bought separately, can be used again and again, and make a lovely holiday memory to take home.

6. Make the most of the day in two countries

Want to get as much as possible out of your holiday days? The Large Sälen/TrysilPasset is a great tip. It gives you access to activities in both Sälen and Trysil, with biking, climbing parks, pools and action-filled family activities all in one pass.

It is especially good for active families who want to vary their days, try lots of activities and combine mountain experiences on both sides of the border.

  • AIM Challenge Sälen

    AIM Challenge in Sälen is a multisport in a magnificent and challenging environment where you can participate whether you are a beginner or have been competing in multisport for a long time. In teams of two, you must complete as many of the 60 controls as possible in 6 hours by cycling, running and simple navigation. The controls consist to some extent of adventurous elements such as climbing, rappelling, paddling, SUP and more. A really fun day to remember!

    Welcome to wonderful days filled with activities for all ages where the focus is on cycling.
