Experience ski touring in Åre

Ski touring (also known as randonnée) is for strong alpine skiers who want to try going uphill with skins and enjoy fresh powder on the way down. Our experienced guides will teach you the basics and make sure you get a fun and safe introduction to this style of skiing.

We provide off-piste skis with touring bindings and skins. You bring your regular ski boots, which work perfectly with our setup. Our guides offer technique tips, safety advice, and inspiration to help you explore the mountain in new ways.

It gets warm going uphill – bring a water bottle and some snacks for energy.

Practical information

  • When: Tuesdays, weeks 7–16
  • Minimum age: 16 years
  • Skill level: You can ski all pistes in control with parallel skis but haven’t tried ski touring before.
  • Valid SkiPass required.
