During the Norwegian autumn holiday period, Trysil offers active days in the mountains with biking, hiking, climbing and family-friendly experiences in autumn colours.

During the Norwegian autumn holiday period, many of the summer activities in Trysil are still open. You can combine active days outdoors with events, evening activities and experiences for the whole family.

During the autumn holiday, Trysil offers family-friendly activities and events that make it easy to get more out of your days in the mountains.

Gullia by night

On selected evenings, Gullia Trail Park opens for biking in the autumn darkness. With illuminated trails and an atmospheric setting, this is a different biking experience for both children and adults.

woom Kids Cup

woom Kids Cup is a playful and informal biking competition for younger children, where confidence, safety and the joy of biking are at the centre.

Air Bag Session

Air Bag Session offers action and excitement, with the chance to practise jumps and tricks in controlled and safe surroundings.

Climbing Park @ night

The climbing park is open during the day in the autumn holiday period. On selected evenings, it also opens for evening climbing on illuminated courses after normal closing time.

More family-friendly autumn activities

For more variety, Trysil also offers river activities such as rafting, family rafting and canyoning. In the Adventure Park, you will also find activities such as Mountain Coaster and Mountain Tube.

Biking during the autumn holiday

Biking is a natural part of the autumn holiday in Trysil. When the forests and mountains turn autumnal and the pace in the mountains is calmer, the conditions are ideal for both playful and active biking days.

Lift-accessed biking on Trysilfjellet

During the Norwegian autumn holiday period, Fjellekspressen takes you up Trysilfjellet. Here you will find flow trails, fresh autumn air and views across the mountain landscape.

Trail biking in Gullia

Gullia is open throughout the autumn holiday period and is one of Norway’s most family-friendly areas for trail biking. Good trails, varied terrain and short loops make it easy to find your flow, whether you are biking with children or looking for a little more challenge.

Hiking in the autumn mountains

Autumn is one of the best times for a mountain hike in Trysil. Clear air, cooler temperatures and colourful nature make the mountains especially rewarding to explore on foot.

On and around Trysilfjellet, you will find marked trails of varying lengths and difficulty levels, with hiking trails suitable for families as well as those who want to raise their pulse.
