Fly to Sälen

Scandinavian Mountains Airport is located right next to the Sälen mountains. During winter 2026/27, direct flights operate from several European cities, including London, Manchester, Amsterdam, Groningen and Copenhagen, as well as Stockholm.

Transfer from the airport to Sälen

Transfers are available to coincide with flight arrivals and departures. From the airport, the transfer bus takes around 10 minutes to Hundfjället and Tandådalen, 20 minutes to Högfjället and 25 minutes to Sälfjällstorget and Lindvallen.

You can choose between a shared transfer to the ski area and a private transfer directly to your accommodation. Book an airport transfer with Sälen Buss in advance so that it is coordinated with your flight.

Dog sled transfer

If you want to start your mountain experience as soon as you arrive at the airport, you can also book a dog sled transfer to Sälen.

Skis and luggage

Rules and charges for skis, snowboards and other special baggage vary between airlines. Check the conditions for your flight and book ski equipment in advance where required.
