Skiing Holidays Tandådalen

Tandådalen consists of two parts: the quieter east side with wide carving slopes and Sälen's biggest snow park, and the area around Tandådalstorget with more challenging skiing. There are transport lifts from the Tandådalen ski area to Hundfjället.

Staying in Tandådalen

The range of Iodging available in Tandådalen consists mainly of cabins and apartments, either right by the ski slopes or in one of the larger cabin areas just outside the Tandådalen ski area. For those who prefer hotels, Hotell Mezzo is located right in the middle of Tandådalen, decorated in natural materials and harmonious colours.

Skiing in Tandådalen

Central Tandådalen offers challenging skiing and a sunny location even in pre-season. There is also a large ski school area, plus the Solliften lift and many of Sälen's black runs. Östra Tandådalen offers wide blue and red slopes and Sälen's biggest snow park.

Valles Skidland is located to the right of the large hill. Here there are button lifts, covered conveyor belts, a number of child-friendly slopes with Valle statues and other fun things for the little ones to do their turns around.

Östra Tandådalstorget

On the very left side of the ski area you will find Valles Skidland, which features Valle characters, conveyor belts, two button lifts, a ski carousel and a number of green slopes.

Snow Parks & Fun Ride

SkiStar Snow Park Tandådalen

Tandådalen boasts a wide range of features including rails, boxes and jumps varying in level, from the easiest green level to advanced red. The snow park is located next to the Östliftarna lifts.

Fun Ride

SkiStar Fun Ride in Östra Tandådalen has jumps, bumps and velodromes that are designed to suit everyone, from small children and beginners to advanced skiers.
