Accommodation in Lindvallen

Most of our accommodation in Lindvallen, Sälen, is located near one of the four squares:

• Söderåstorget
• Experiumtorget
• Gustavtorget
• Sälfjällstorget

At Experiumtorget, everything is close by: SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen, Ski Lodge Village, and Timmerbyn, along with adventure pools, spa, bowling, grocery store, and several restaurants.

Several restaurants are also located at Sälfjällstorget. The Ski & Pool Shuttle provides easy transport between accommodation and the slopes or pool.

Skiing in Lindvallen

Lindvallen is Sälen’s largest ski area and offers family-friendly skiing with mostly green and red runs, making it easy for the whole family to ski together. Three chairlifts take you quickly to the top, and the ski area is connected to Högfjället for even more slopes.

Check the Lindvallen piste map and snow report before heading out, and buy your SkiPass online for the best price. The SkiPass is also valid in Tandådalen and Hundfjället.

Children’s Areas in Lindvallen

Sydpolen

Sydpolen is located by the Söderåsen Express and is perfect for families. It features button lifts, conveyor belts, and easy green slopes where even the youngest skiers can ski safely and have fun.

Nearby facilities include toilets, a warming hut, and a BBQ area, making it comfortable and enjoyable for the whole family.

From the top of the Söderåsen Express, more experienced skiers can take the new combined black run Adam and Pernilla, offering a thrilling and playful experience with forest sections providing variation and technical challenges. Snowmaking is improved to ensure excellent conditions from the start of the 2025/2026 season.

Valleberget

Outside Experium, at Experiumtorget, is one of Europe’s largest children’s areas. It features many button lifts, several conveyor belts, and plenty of easy slopes.

Children can also try the sledding hill, play on the playground, or visit Valletorget with a time machine, post office, and large music stage.

The area is open for skiing until 18:00 daily, and during winter, children and adults can enjoy magical skiing at Magic Mountain.

Sälfjällstorget

Here you will find both button lifts and conveyor belts, as well as several family-friendly slopes conveniently close to parking. The area also features toilets, café, warming hut, BBQ, and ski school.

Snow Parks & Fun Ride

SkiStar Fun Rides are slopes with jumps, rollers, boxes, and velodromes suitable for everyone – from small children and beginners to advanced skiers. They are located next to the Gustav Express chairlift.

In the area around the Sparven lift (L5), there is also a SkiStar Snow Park with green jump and box lines.
