MS Weekend in Sälen
Welcome to the MS Weekend, 1–4 October 2026 – a weekend in a mountain setting for people living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their relatives. You’ll have the opportunity to connect with others, gain new knowledge and focus on recovery.
The weekend is designed to create a safe and inclusive environment where you can recharge, feel inspired and meet others in similar situations.
Weekend programme
Throughout the weekend, we offer talks, discussion groups, Q&A sessions with a doctor, mountain walks, yoga and exercise adapted to different needs and abilities. You can choose the activities that suit you best.
There will be a social gathering with sparkling drinks, enjoyable dinners, and the weekend concludes with a lovely brunch.
A weekend for relatives too
We know how important it is for relatives to receive support and to meet others in similar situations. That’s why both you and your loved ones are very welcome. Some activities and discussion groups are shared, while others are separate, to ensure a meaningful weekend for everyone.

Accessibility and catering
SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen is designed to be accessible to everyone, and we offer both assistive equipment and catering that can be adapted to allergies and other needs.
Adaptive skiing in Sälen
Here in Sälen we are proud to welcome all skiers. We can offer ski lessons for all different types of permanent functional disabilities both for sitting and standing skiing. We also offer equipment rental.
Welcome home to SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen
The hotel is located at the foot of Lindvallen’s lifts and slopes, right next to the popular cross-country trails. The apartments have been newly renovated for winter 2025/26, with updated surfaces and furnishings. Just a stone’s throw away is Svansjön, the main summer activity area, featuring a climbing park, padel courts, and cycling trails. The heart of the hotel is the Lodge Bar, with an open fireplace and cosy seating. Right next door is Experium, the adventure centre with a pool, bowling, and spa.
