Cross-country Arenas Åre

Enjoy cross-country skiing in our SkiStar Cross-Country arenas in Duved and Björnen. Here you will find trails for both classic style and skating. Floodlit trails are available on selected sections, and you have access to a waxing hut, warming hut and toilets.

Cross-country Arena Björnen

Cross-Country Arena Björnen offers snow-sure cross-country skiing in wind-protected forest terrain. Adjacent to the arena are a heated shelter, toilets and a ski waxing shed. 

Illuminated: 7 am-10 pm when needed
Preparation: takes place at some point between 05:00-09:00.

HOW TO GET TO CROSS COUNTRY ARENA BJÖRNEN

The Ski bus makes it easy to get to the arena, a stop is located nearby. The bus is free for SkiPass or Cross-CountryPass holders. If you are arriving by car there is parking adjacent to the entrance to the arena, park here ».

Cross-country Arena Duved

Cross-Country Arena Duved offers both skating and classic skiing, as well as lit trails.   

Illuminated: 7 am-10 pm when needed
Preparation: takes place at some point between 05:00-09:00. 

Technique training/sprint course 
A 400 metre long track with curves, bumps and short but steep hills. Located 200 metres from the Trail Centre (Hamrelia).

HOW TO get to CROSS-COUNTRY ARENA DUVED

The Ski bus makes it easy to get to the arena, a stop is located nearby. The bus is free for SkiPass or Cross-CountryPass holders. If you are arriving by car there is parking adjacent to the entrance to the arena, park here ». 

You can start your ski tour or exercise round from the car park between Renen and Föreningshuset or from the Trail Centre 300 meters west of Hamreliften. From the mountain guest house Millestgården, Backs and Pålles cabin villages in Duved’s most westerly part, you can start via connecting trails.
