The lifts on Åreskutan will run extra long, so you can enjoy the blooming mountain scenery and breathtaking views in the midsummer light while cycling, hiking, and soaking in the views from the top of Åreskutan well into the evening.

The summer solstice gives us the longest day of the year, and in 2025, this almost mythical event falls on Midsummer’s Day itself. It’s one of the highlights of the summer at Åreskutan in 2025, where the lifts will run from 10:00 to 21:00, with the sun still not having set on the horizon. You can enjoy the midsummer light by bike, on foot, or by taking the lift up and down to enjoy the views!
