Information about lodging
Room numbers and buildings
The hotel consists of several buildings, and it may be difficult to navigate on your first visit. To make it easier, you can download a map:
The first digit of the room number indicates the floor. The second digit shows which Lodge the room belongs to (A=1, B=2, C=3, D=4, E=5, F=6, G=7).
The reception is located in Lodge H, together with Barken, Stabben, Trattoria Luca, the spa and the conference facilities.
Lodges A–G contain apartments, waste sorting rooms and the SkiStarshop.
Lighting and key cards
To switch on the lights in rooms and apartments, insert the key card into the holder by the door. If you are missing a card, contact the reception or use another card that fits.
The reception is located on the ground floor of the main building.
TV system and Chromecast
All rooms and apartments have a TV with Chromecast access.
Wi-Fi
The hotel is connected to SkiStar Wi-Fi, which is free to use.
Search for available networks and select SkiStar_Free.
You must read and accept the terms before accessing the network.
No account or password is required.
Daily cleaning
Daily cleaning is included for all hotel rooms and Lodges. Apartments do not include daily cleaning.
Safe drinking water
Norway has clean and safe drinking water straight from the tap. In Trysil, you can safely drink cold tap water and use it for brushing teeth and cooking.
We recommend not drinking hot tap water.
Waste and recycling
All waste must be sorted:
- Hotel rooms: bin for residual waste
- Apartments: bins for residual waste and food waste
- Paper, plastic, glass and metal must be sorted separately
The recycling room is located on the third floor between Lodge D and E, next to the P4 car park. It is opened with your key card. Outdoor waste containers should not be used.
Energy saving
We appreciate your help in reducing energy consumption during your stay.
Ski lockers
All rooms and apartments have access to ski lockers on the ground floor of Building A, with ski in/ski out access.
Your locker number is the same as your room number.
The lockers are allocated based on the number of beds in each unit. They lock in the same way as your room. The lockers have ventilation but no boot-dryer function.
All units include
- Hairdryer
- Toilet paper
- Hand soap, shower gel, shampoo, conditioner and body lotion
For refills, please contact reception. - Bedding and one large and one small towel per person
Additionally
- Kitchen towel
- Detergent for hand and machine washing
- Dishcloth and dish brush
- Sorting bags for recycling
Please note that coffee filters, spices and kitchen roll are not provided.
Groceries
The nearest grocery store is Fageråsen Handel at the Mountain Centre (1 km away). Here you will find milk, bread, ready meals, fruit and vegetables.
In Trysil town centre you will find a wider selection of shops, a bookstore, gallery, wine monopoly and more. The centre is located about 10 km from the hotel.
There is parking both at the Mountain Centre and in the town centre. The ski bus runs between the hotel, the Mountain Centre and the town centre.
Toll road
Fageråsvegen has automatic toll payment. The cost is from NOK 70 per passage.
