Scandinavian Mountain Airport is conveniently situated just 10 minutes from Hundfjället, 15 minutes from Tandådalen, 20-25 minutes from Högfjället and Lindvallen and 40 minutes from Trysilfjellet, offering quick access to the skiing facilities.
About Scandinavian Mountains Airport
Scandinavian Mountains Airport is a modern, well-equipped facility with a 2,500-metre long and 50-metre wide runway that can accommodate most aircraft. It offers both international and domestic routes, with a 9,500 m² terminal building capable of handling four arrivals simultaneously. The building houses a restaurant, a duty-free boutique and a shop.
Transfer
Transfers are scheduled to connect with each flight. The transfer bus from the airport to Hundfjället/Tandådalen takes just 10 minutes, while Högfjället and Sälfjällstorget/Lindvallen are both 20 minutes away. The journey to Trysil and Fageråsen takes approximately 40 minutes.
Transfer by bus: guests may opt for a private transfer (direct to their accommodation) or a shared transfer (direct to the nearest check-in station for their accommodation).
We are pleased to offer our guests the opportunity to experience the mountains and the wilderness from a dog sled before reaching their accommodation by transferring to Sälen by dog sled.
