We are expanding our ski areas for the 2023/24 winter season! We have two new lifts in Lindvallen: Söderåsen Express and the Uven T-bar lift. We will also be adding cross-country ski trails at the top of the mountain in Hundfjället - a trail that offers both skating and classic cross-country skiing, and at Experium we will have a family disco swimming pool and much more!

For us at SkiStar, the central concern is to create unforgettable mountain experiences - and we do this best when we can ensure that our ski resorts are first class! That is why we have decided to invest in two new lifts: Söderåsen Express and the Uven T-bar lift, two lifts that will enhance the entire Lindvallen ski area.
The Söderåsen Express can transport up to 2,400 guests per hour up the mountain in high comfort, with wind protection and heated seats and protection against the cold. The Uven T-bar lift serves as an excellent complement to the Söderåsen Express, and the T-bar lift will offer the same range of slopes as the chairlift. The Uven T-bar lift also secures the southern part of Lindvallen against the weather.
In connection with the two new lifts, we are also strengthening our snow production facility at the Märta slope and the transport route to Timmerbyn - this will enable better conditions for ski-in ski-out in Timmerbyn. It should be easy to get on the slopes!
In Hundfjället we are also strengthening our snow production facility at the Familjebacken slope, resulting in a more weatherproof and robust ski slope. Another great investment in Hundfjället is that we are making cross-country skiing possible on the mountain. We are drawing a summit cross-country trail between East and West Express over a distance of 4 km, for both skating and classic styles.
SKISTAR SNOW PARKS
Here we take help from our ambassador Jesper Tjäder with an exciting design. As one of the world's best freeskiers, including a victory in the X-Games and an Olympic bronze, he knows what is needed for more people to discover the joy, community and magic of skiing in a Snow Park.
restaurants, accommodation and charging points
In the coming winter, there are not only alpine novelties in Sälen, but we are also developing other experiences. Among other things, all the experiences in Sälen will be bigger and better!
In the Experium we are opening a new restaurant in the old O ́Learys premises, offering a wide menu to suit all tastes. We are also opening our own café, which previously housed Waynes. In the café we offer freshly baked bread, light lunches and other treats. Lodgebaren will return with a refreshed and exciting menu that is guaranteed to please the whole family. The SPA and swimming pool offer at Experium is being renewed, where a family-friendly disco bath is the big news, along with more delightful sauna experiences.
This year we are also introducing digital check-in at SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen. This means that guests will be able to check in with their mobile phone in the SkiStar app and go directly to their room/apartment without queuing at reception or at a key cabinet/box.
But it's not just happening at Experium. Bedits Kaffe & Kök is opening between Gustavtorget and Sälfjällstorget, among other places, where you will find lighter meals and sandwiches of all kinds. A large meeting place called Salen på Sälfjällstorget is opening in Sälfjällstorget. Here the public and local business meet at a meeting place with restaurants with a bar, gaming centre for the youth, cinema hall, a co-working centre and much more!
Electric car drivers will also find more charging points in connection with our accommodation in Sälen! And more investments are being made on the roads if you're coming from the south - along the green route, major investments are being made in charging infrastructure.
