To provide our guests with a memorable mountain experience, we continuously develop Sälen with improved facilities, service and accommodation. Every season we offer new, exciting experiences.

Magic Mountain open every evening

During the 2025/2026 winter season, Magic Mountain in Lindvallen will be open every evening from 17:00 to 18:00, from week 51 to week 9.

The last hour each day offers extra skiing in a safe and playful environment – perfect for children and families looking to extend their ski day after time on the slopes.

This activity is included in the SkiPass, and the popular mascot Valle also appears some evenings to bring even more joy and magic for the kids.

Exciting black run by Söderåsen Express

For the 2025/2026 winter season, the two black runs Adam and Pernilla by the Söderåsen Express in Lindvallen are being merged into one large and fun slope, with forest sections that add variety to the descent. The new route offers fast-paced and playful challenges in technical and exciting terrain.

More efficient snow production

Additionally, snow production connected to the new run will be improved to ensure good conditions – aiming to be ready by the start of the season.

  • Welcome to SkiStar Lodge Vemdalen

    You really do stay right in the middle of the slope with the Pass Express chairlift outside the front entrance. The hotel is the perfect base for families with slightly older children where freedom of choice is important. The hotel offers a restaurant with après-ski, shuffleboard, ski rental, a shop and a gym. We have closed for the season and will reopen in December 2025 - welcome back!
