Book activities and rental products well in advance as they get booked up quickly.
Bring clothes for all kinds of weather. The weather changes quickly up in the mountains, even in the summer.
It's a good idea to bring a backpack, preferably one per person, for both small and big adventures out in the mountains. Kids often like helping out by carrying a small, light backpack too.
A small first aid bag with e.g. plasters for chafing and mosquito repellent is also good to have in your backpack.
