Valle’s Ski School

Valle’s Ski School teaches kids aged 3 to 9 to be safe and confident skiers, with Valle the Snowman and Valle's best friends, the ski instructors in SkiStar Guides.

As well as learning to turn, slow down and ride lifts, kids also make new friends and, with Valle's rules of the slopes, they learn to ski or board safely and confidently on the slopes. After completing ski school, all children are awarded a special Valle diploma with Valle's rules of the slopes and a skiing licence. 

Everyone gets a medal in Valle's World Cup, a fun competition we arrange each week where everyone gets to take part, regardless of their ability. Everyone is a winner and receives a medal when they pass the finish line. No times are taken and the level of competition is tailored to the age of the children taking part.

Valle's Ski School offers several different groups for children aged 3-9. Accompanied by encouraging ski instructors, the children go out on adventures in varied terrain in the ski area and discover the joy of learning new things, having fun on snow and challenging themselves.

Valle's Ski School offers a series of educational films on SkiStar's YouTube channel.  Hang out with Astrid and Alvar, Valle the Snowman and Felicia the ski instructor out on the slopes.

With Valle's app, children can practice Valle's rules of the slopes even before leaving home, or on the way here.

Please note that you, 7 years and older, will need a valid SkiPass to attend the ski school.
