What’s new in Trysil this winter

For winter 2026/27, Trysil is strengthening the conditions for snow-reliable, well-groomed ski days. With an improved snow guarantee and 60 new snow guns, you can plan your ski holiday with greater peace of mind.

Snow-reliable, well-groomed and reassuring

Trysil is strengthening its work to provide snow-reliable and well-groomed slopes for winter 2026/27. An improved snow guarantee and 60 new snow guns will help provide more reliable skiing conditions throughout the winter season.

Norway’s best snow guarantee

The Alpine Snow Guarantee is being strengthened for winter 2026/27. In Trysil, we guarantee at least 15 open slopes from 18 December 2026 up to and including 4 April 2027 – more than at any other ski resort in Norway.

If Trysil is unable to provide the promised alpine ski product, you have the right to cancel or end your stay and receive a refund.

*The Snow Guarantee does not apply to lifts or slopes that are temporarily closed due to technical problems, severe weather or similar circumstances.

60 new snow guns in Trysil

For winter 2026/27, Trysil is getting 60 new snow guns. This increases snowmaking capacity and helps provide more reliable conditions on the slopes throughout the winter.

The investment particularly strengthens our ability to create good skiing conditions early in the season and ahead of the Christmas and New Year period.
