What happens during the camp?

The camp combines park riding with social activities throughout the day. Participants have two training sessions daily, with park riding between approximately 10:00 and 16:00.

Accommodation

Participants stay at Radisson Blu Resort Trysil for the entire camp, sharing 3–5 person rooms with others of a similar age.

You can request a roommate when signing up, and we will do our best to accommodate this where possible.

Safety and supervision

Safety and well-being are a key part of the camp. Participants are supervised by experienced instructors throughout the day, and there are always dedicated contact persons available.

Many participants travel to the camp on their own. We have extensive experience in creating a safe and inclusive environment where participants quickly get to know each other.

Meals and dietary requirements

All meals are included and served at the hotel.

Dietary requirements, including vegetarian options, can be accommodated. Please inform us when signing up. There is also the option to visit a local grocery store if needed.

Arrival

Sunday 28 June

• Check-in between 16:00 and 17:00 at Radisson Blu Resort Trysil reception
• Welcome meeting from 18:00 to 19:00
• Dinner is served at 19:00

Departure

Thursday 2 July

• Check-out by 09:00
• Luggage can be stored at the hotel on the day of departure
• Pick-up between 16:00 and 17:00

Programme and schedule

Park riding takes place daily between approximately 10:00 and 16:00, split into two sessions.

A detailed weekly schedule will be sent by email to all participants prior to arrival.

What to bring

• Skis or snowboard
• Helmet (mandatory)
• Clothing for outdoor activities in all weather conditions
• Swimwear and casual clothing

Snow Park Summer Camp is organised by SkiStar Trysil and Radisson Blu Resort Trysil in collaboration with Birk Ruud and Busi Company. By signing up, both the participant and their guardian accept the following rules and terms.

Registration and cancellation

• Registration is binding.
• In case of cancellation, the camp coordinator must be contacted as early as possible.
• The place cannot be transferred to another person.
• Cancellations made earlier than 7 days before arrival will incur a fee of NOK 1,000.
• Cancellations made later than this are not eligible for a refund.
• In the event of illness or withdrawal, the organiser must be notified. This does not entitle the participant to a refund.

Responsibility and insurance

• Participation is at the participant’s own risk.
• Guardians are responsible for ensuring that the participant and any equipment brought are adequately insured.
• The participant is responsible for assessing terrain, features and their own skill level in relation to difficulty.
• The organiser cannot be held liable for injuries or incidents that occur during the camp.

Safety and equipment

• Helmets are mandatory during all skiing activities.
• The use of back protection is strongly recommended.
• All participants are expected to follow the instructions of the coaches and the camp’s safety rules.

Behaviour and community

• The camp must be a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.
• There is zero tolerance for bullying, harassment or disrespectful behaviour.
• Serious breaches of the rules may result in the participant being sent home without a refund.
• The camp is strictly substance-free. Alcohol, drugs, tobacco and performance-enhancing substances are not permitted.
• Energy drinks and speakers/sound systems are also not permitted and may be confiscated.
• Guardians are financially responsible for any damage to property or vandalism caused by the participant.

Attendance and accommodation

To ensure safety and maintain oversight of all participants, the following applies:

• All participants must stay in their assigned hotel rooms throughout the entire camp.
• Participants are not allowed to come and go freely or be picked up/dropped off during the camp.
• The camp is organised as a shared experience from start to finish.
• Leave must be agreed in advance and approved by the organiser.
• Social activities such as birthdays or football matches are not considered valid reasons for leave.

Photo and video

• By signing up, guardians consent to the participant being photographed and filmed during the camp.
• The material may be used in communication and marketing on websites and social media.

Other

Guardians are responsible for informing the participant about the rules before the camp and ensuring they are well prepared.
