Trysil Bike Park – lift assisted mountain biking

From the top of Fjellekspressen, an entire world of riding experiences awaits – with fun flow trails for different levels, freeride trails with airy jumps, and technical trails with roots and rocks. Experience the freedom of 20 kilometres of lift assisted mountain biking adapted to different skill levels. To ride here, you need the Medium or Large TrysilPass.

Lift assisted mountain biking in Trysil

Trysil Bike Park offers trails in different difficulty levels – from blue to black – and suits riders with varying levels of experience. Here, you will find everything from long flow trails with berms to technical trails with roots and rocks.

Several of the trails feature jumps, drops, berms and other elements along the way. You will also find chicken lines and bike stops in selected areas.

Magic Moose (10)

  • Classification: Blue
  • Length: 7 km
  • Type: Flow trail

At 7 kilometres, Magic Moose is one of Europe’s longest flow trails. The trail features berms, rollers and wooden features, and is best suited to riders with some experience.

If you have never tried lift assisted mountain biking before, we recommend trying trail riding in Gullia first.

FlowStar (33)

  • Classification: Blue
  • Length: 1.9 km
  • Type: Flow trail

FlowStar is a wide, machine-built flow trail with berms, jumps, bridges and rollers. Here, you can choose to roll down steadily or carry more speed.

Gold Rush (36)

  • Classification: Blue
  • Length: 1.3 km
  • Type: Flow trail

Gold Rush is a fast and playful flow trail with jumps of different sizes and several features along the way. It is possible to roll over the jumps, but you should reduce your speed first. The trail suits riders who are confident on blue trails and want more speed and variation.

Starline (37)

  • Classification: Blue
  • Length: Short trail
  • Type: Flow trail

Starline heads into the forest and features berms and wooden features in a more compact format. A good choice if you want to stay on blue difficulty all the way down.

Twister (34)

  • Classification: Red
  • Length: 1.7 km
  • Type: Flow trail

Twister combines speed, berms and jumps with good flow all the way down. Along the trail, there are several bike stops where you can take a break, and in some places you can switch over to a blue trail if it becomes too demanding.

Rolling Stones (21)

  • Classification: Red
  • Length: 400 m
  • Type: Freeride trail

Rolling Stones offers more speed and more technical jumps than the blue alternatives, and suits riders looking for a shorter, more demanding descent.

Hammerfall (42)

  • Classification: Red
  • Length: 350 m
  • Type: Freeride trail

Hammerfall is a short and intense trail with large berms, jumps and wooden features. The trail suits experienced riders who enjoy red trails with high speed and clearly defined features.

Tons of Rock (41)

  • Classification: Red
  • Length: 500 m
  • Type: Freeride trail

Tons of Rock features berms, jumps and several challenging elements along the way. This is a short, intense descent for riders who want more demanding riding than on the blue trails.

Timber Town (38)

  • Classification: Red
  • Length: 800 m
  • Type: Technical trail

Timber Town combines flow with technical sections, fast turns and demanding features, and suits riders who are comfortable with a more technical riding style.

Boneyard (40)

  • Classification: Red
  • Length: 1 km
  • Type: Freeride trail

Boneyard opened in July 2025 and features jumps, drops and several demanding elements along the way. The trail suits riders who are already comfortable on red trails and want to explore newer and more challenging lines.

Jackhammer (35)

  • Classification: Red / Black
  • Length: Jump line area
  • Type: Jump line

Jackhammer is located in the middle of the mountain and is the place for riders who want to spend time on jumps. Here, you will find a jump line with both red and black options, as well as wooden features that make the lines more challenging.

Downtown (39)

  • Classification: Red
  • Length: Short trail
  • Type: Freeride trail

Downtown is the final red trail before you reach Turistsenteret. The trail features large berms and elements such as a whale tail, wallride and jumps.

Sten (44)

  • Classification: Black
  • Length: 1.3 km
  • Type: Technical trail

Sten is a rough, rocky and technically demanding hand-built trail. Here, you will find plenty of rocks, uneven ground and a high level of technical difficulty – perfect for experienced riders who want a more natural and physically demanding experience.

Eventyr Bike Park

In Eventyr, you’ll find two easy green trails running through Valleskogen. The return is lift-assisted.

There are also balance features, small jumps, and a gravel pump track.

Practical information before you drop in

Helmets are mandatory, and we recommend a full-face helmet as well as other Bike Park protective gear such as a back protector, gloves and knee pads. For the best possible experience, we recommend a full-suspension mountain bike suited to lift assisted mountain biking. If you do not have your own bike, you can also hire a Bike Park bike in Trysil.

Biking always involves a degree of risk, so before you drop in, we recommend saving the trail patrol’s phone number in case of an accident. Trail patrol: 992 80 084.

Lift assisted mountain biking is only available during the lift’s opening hours.

For your safety, bicycle helmets are mandatory in all cycling areas.
