Bus travel can be a convenient way to reach the mountains without hiring a car. Some services travel directly to the ski resorts, while others provide an easy onward connection from a major city or airport.

Bus to ski resorts in Norway

Trysil is particularly easy to reach by bus from Oslo. Trysilekspressen runs throughout the year between Oslo Bus Terminal, Oslo Airport Gardermoen, Elverum and Trysil, continuing up to the mountain during winter. This makes it easy to travel by bus to Trysil after flying into Oslo.

You can also travel by bus to Hemsedal from Oslo. Express buses run throughout the year, and some services also connect with Oslo Airport.

Bus to ski resorts in Sweden

Seasonal coach services operate from Swedish cities to Sälen, making it possible to travel by bus to Sälen without a car.
