Located in Tegetornet in the heart of Tegefjäll, just before Tegeliften (D9). Lunch, pizza and à la carte in the evening. We deliver pizza to your door, as well as other goodies.
Crowded House Café
Cozy family-owned slope restaurant in the middle of Björnens ski system. You can stop by for a coffee or a proper lunch with good drinks from local suppliers. You can both start and end your ski day with us!
Crowded House Stugan
Located in Björnens värmestuga you will find our small café. Here we offer waffles, soup, hot sandwiches and coffee. You can also pre-book breakfast with us!
Grädda Åre
Personal bakery and café with a big passion for sourdough bread, cakes and baked goods. Also known for its award-winning homemade ice cream.
Åre Kafferosteri Kaffebar Torget
A coffee bar in the middle of Åre Torg square with specialty coffee roasted on the premises and sandwiches/pastries made with organic ingredients.
Bistro Café Idet
Situated by Järven lift (B44) in Björnen with a large veranda in a real sun trap. Serves food, drinks and snacks. Fully licensed.
Timmerstugan
Restaurant close to the hill at VM 6:an/Stjärntorget. Open every day from 10:00. A la carte lunch. Aprés Medi Afterski on Sundays.
Mrs Maggie

720 m.a.s.l. you will find Åreskutan's meeting place! Lunch, après-ski and a large terrace give you everything you need for a perfect day on the mountain. Now we also accept groups in the evening, book via our website.

Caffé, Ristorante & Bar at VM 8an's top station. In the middle of the ski area and with a focus on Italian cuisine.
Restaurant Pigo
Ancient mountain restaurant in the middle of central Duved with à la carte, pizza & pub. Cozy, child-friendly and relaxed! Here you will find everything from lunch, hot chocolate in front of the fire and a cold draft beer after the slope to fine dinner & takeaway pizza. We have two rooms where you are welcome to bring your dog and of course there is a separate menu for the pooch. Please book in advance in the evening or if you are many and please tell us if you have your dog with you so we can plan in the best way. A warm welcome!
Hamrestugan
Hillside restaurant in the middle of Hamrebacken in Duved. Here you can enjoy a prime rib burger, a hot goulash in freshly baked bread or a hot chocolate in front of the open fireplace.
Mr. Bramwell’s WigWam
Cosy and unusual tent hut with coffee, delicious vegetarian dishes and giant double burgers to satisfy the hungriest. Situated in the Tegefjälls ski area, at the Tegeliftens (D9) disembarkation.
Café Gården
Café Gården is a café and also has a cultural and sustainability centre currently under construction. Located at Åre Hembygdsgård.
Lillåstugans Våffelbruk
Waffle cafe some 2 km from Ullådalen’s parking and near Fjällvallsliften (D10) in Tegefjäll. Here we serve classic waffles, steaming coffee and baked goods as well as a light lunch in a genuine environment.
Buustamon’s Fjällgård
Cosy, authentic eatery in the middle of the mountain focusing on local Jämtländ produce prepared with inspiration from other mountain areas in the world. Day and evening opening, accommodation facilities.
Rautjoxa Värdshus
Located in the Rödkullen ski area. Classic skier lunches, baked goods and bar in the middle of the slope.
Holiday Shop Rödkullen
Located in the cosy premises of Rödkullen, this place offers lunch alternatives such as Gooh! dishes and sausages with bread. Besides baked goods, warm and cold drinks. You're also welcome to warm up your packed lunch here.
Kaffebaren VM8 lift
At the coffee bar at the VM8 valley station (Å22) you can have a good cup of coffee between rides, warm up and even grab a quick bite to eat. There are always freshly baked cinnamon buns.
Waffle hut
Cosy waffle house at the VM8 stop and Igloo Åre. Serves classic waffles with seven kinds of different jams and cream, of course there is homemade cloudberry jam. Also fika, coffee, soft drinks and hot chocolate with cream and marshmallows.
Holidayshop Åreskutan
At Kabinbanan’s (Å29) mountain station. Restaurant with several hot dishes and vegetarian options and of course plenty of refreshments. Freshly baked cinnamon buns every day. Open when the cable car is running.
Toppstugan Åre
Sweden's highest cafe is located approximately 800 metres from Kabinbanan's (Å29) mountain station. The café offers reindeer wraps, waffles, hot chocolate and when it's sunny we also have an outdoor BBQ. Arrival by snow scooter is possible on most days. In the summer you can walk the 800 metres.
Hummelstugan
Hillside restaurant with a large sunroom and view over the whole Åre valley. Coffee, bar food and à la carte. Can also be used as an evening venue if arranged in advance.
Restaurang Bibbos
“Mountain restaurant” with bookable a la carte. The menu and view invite you to a lunch experience with a little extra. In the bar area you can enjoy a good cup of coffee, a wine toddy or a sandwich. If you prefer something quick between turns, Bibbos kebab de veau is served on the outdoor terrace. A warm welcome to us at Bibbos!
Hotell Fjällgården
Ski in ski out. Restaurant and hotel in the middle of the slopes. At the bottom of the Snobbrännan and the top of the Bergbanan. Coffee, Lunch, Afterski with live band Mon-Sat and Dinner every day. You are welcome!
Årehyddan
Cosy restaurant with lunch, coffee and drinks. You will find us in Stjärnbacken, at the mountain railway station. Occasionally open in summer, see the website for current opening hours.

Sibylla Åre
Classic Sibylla restaurant at the OK/Q8 along the E14 highway in Åre. Can also be reached in a short walk from the VM6 (Å31) valley station.

Mister French
Mister French is the modern brasserie where French 20s vibes mingle with a classic Gatsby spirit. The restaurant has a central cocktail bar and open kitchen where they present an exclusive range of dishes based on French cuisine. Mister French is located in the middle of Åre square and is open every day during the winter season. Welcome to Mister French!
Broken Åre
“Home of the Mega Burger” is what it says on Broken’s classic menu which includes margaritas, burgers, ribs, ice cold beers and a relaxed atmosphere.
Liten Krog
Cosy neighbourhood restaurant in Central Åre. The menu includes a'la carte with everything from meatballs to reindeer fillet.
Werséns Brasserie & Bar
Brasserie and bar on the square. On the menu: Jämtlandic ingredients, French flavours, Swedish classics and famed pizza. Large wine list and good drinks. Täljstensrestaurang in the basement.
Werséns Källare
Classic restaurant where you cook your own meal on hot soapstone. Also has a robust wine list and great service.
Parkvillan
Gastro bar with a focus on beer - in both the food, the bar and in the cellar with its own in-house brewery. The menu varies according to season and structure of the day.
Åre Ölkafé
At Åre Ölkafé we serve hearty food prepared with love. Premium quality ingredients, bread baked on site and beer brewed at our own brewery a stone's throw away. Whatever the time of day, you're welcome to visit us for a delicious bite to eat, cold beer or world-class pastries. You can find us in the old listed station building right next to the railway station.
Lounge
Café in a lovely lounge style at Åre Station. Serves the lunch of the day, salads and homemade goodies. Healthy smoothies, freshly pressed juice and raw food.
APO Åre
For the past few years our journey with the "Supper family" have made us curious about new destinations. Asian cuisine has always fascinated us. Asian Post Office is our new journey through Asia. Supper Åre
It all started right here in Åre. In the autumn of 2008, three friends made their dream a reality and started Supper Åre. In autumn 2019, Supper Åre moved into Villa Tottebo's historic premises. A meeting place for large and small groups where South American flavours and a community feel are at the centre of the experience. O’Learys

Åre Bageri with Restaurant Ripazzo

Karolinen Täljstenskrog
One of the mountain's cosiest dining rooms. The food is cooked on hot stones directly at your own table. The menu includes mountain cow from Åredalen, reindeer from Norrland and Swedish lamb racks.
Kastrullen
Cosy hillside restaurant with Alpine atmosphere in Björnen's ski area. Large selection of coffee, baked goods, lunches, tasty sausages and drinks. Located at the Sadel- Högås lift. (B37, B36)
Carin's Krog
In Björnen's ski area, right next to the walkway. Focus on near and locally produced food in Norrlandic food tradition. Also serves snacks and hot chocolate.
Carins Stuga
A dinner/lunch in a cozy mountain cabin where the warmth and light come from the candles and the crackling fire. An experience beyond the ordinary. For parties from 8-16 people.
Lilla Tyrolen
Cosy timber lodge with an Austrian touch adjacent to Järvenbacken in Björnen. Daytime lunch and café, evening pre-booked menu.
Copperhill Mountain Lodge
Restaurant, bar and coffee shop at the top of Förberget in Björnen. The menu features traditional flavours with a modern twist, made with the best seasonal ingredients. Large wine list and well-crafted cocktails. Coppermine serves classic skier's lunch and wood-fired pizzas. Take the Järvenliften (B44) and Copperhill lift (B46) here.
