A trail riding area is under construction in Björnen. Many of the trails are finished, and several more will be built and planned in the coming years.
The new mechanically-cut trails are relatively wide, flat and free of roots and stones. In order to keep the trails dry and to protect the environment, bridges, crossings and drainage have been built. In other words, the new trails are suitable for most cyclists, and children and adults will have a great time cycling together.
TrailPass
You need a TrailPass to cycle on the trails. A damped-suspension bike is recommended here, but a mountain bike can also handle the terrain. TrailPass is always cheapest online and you can quickly and easily pick up your pre-booked TrailPass in one of our SkiPass pick up-automats. The TrailPass enables continued development and maintenance of the trails with a focus on sustainability for nature, landowners and guests.
Åre Bike Park - Trail is a joint project between Åre Destination, SkiStar, Leader, the EU fund, landowners and Björberget's property managers. Read more
