Åre Golf Course and Åre Golf Club are located west of Åre, in Staa. Playing on the course requires a green card and a current golf club membership, but you are welcome to try golf at any of the club's practice areas.
The final eighteenth hole is the club's signature hole, offering a new challenge every time. The hole is a par 3 where, depending on the wind’s direction, you may have to choose anything from a 9 iron to a driver to reach a green guarded by water.
