Children at SkiStar Lodge

There are many activities for children and youths in and around the hotel, such as:

• Sledges can be borrowed at the reception. Sledge riding must be done on the designated sledging hill. It is not permitted to ride the sledges on the ski slopes.
• Shuffleboard, time to be booked at reception.
• Board games can be borrowed at the reception.
• New for the winter season 23/24 is that you can play pool.
• Valle visits every Friday at 16:30.

Valle's Childcare and playroom

We offer daycare for small children, with fun and games for the little ones while you get to enjoy some time on the slopes without them. Our daycare facilities are available both outdoors and indoors in Hundfjället. We offer drop-in with fun and games (subject to availability), as well as bookable activities.  Read more and book »

You will find the childcare and playroom on the first floor next to the SkiStarshop. Monday and Saturday 09:00-15:30 and Tuesday-Friday 09:00-14:00, the playroom is open for those who have booked the childcare activity. At other times there is free play and the room is open to everyone.

Important to bear in mind

• Show consideration for other guests – hallways are not a playground.
• Children may only ride elevators accompanied by an adult.
• Children are allowed in the Frost Pool & Sauna between 10:00 and 19:00.
