The atmospheric family gem that is Sälfjällstorget in Lindvallen has supplemented its fine offer of skiing, lodging, shopping, ice skating and entertainments with a number of new restaurants and lodging properties in recent years. It goes without saying that the skiing, water park and entertainment bus stops at Sälfjällstorget.
The addition of the restaurants Pinchos, Harrys, Winter – and, ahead of winter 2019/20, the completely re-built Viktors – ensures that the square, Sälfjällstorget, has a broad menu of flavours to suit the whole family. Fågelboet, with 44 beds, Torglägenheter and Olarsängen are examples of lodging developments in the area. In the heart of the square is an atmospheric skating rink, plus the SkiStarshop Concept Store, selling ski gear and ski clothes, as well as mountain fashion.
At Sälfjällstorget there are several lifts and floodlit slopes of varying difficulty. You'll find the ski school, ski rental, a conveyor belt, a children's lift and a children's area with barbecue facilities and toilets, as well as a heated shelter. All in close proximity to car parking and adjacent lodgings. It goes without saying that you can get to anywhere in the Lindvallen ski area and Högfjället from Sälfjällstorget.
There are lodgings suitable for everyone in close proximity to the slopes at Sälfjällstorget. Everything from hotels to apartments and large cabins. Many of the lodgings around Sälfjällstorget have been newly built in recent years, including Fågelboet's new 600 m2 cabin, with 21 bedrooms and a total of 44 beds for large groups, as well as Torglägenheter apartments and cabins at Olarsängen.
Restaurants and après-ski
There is a wide selection of restaurants on Sälfjällstorget. For some years Pinchos, Harrys, Winter and Viktors have been there, offering delights to suit lots of different tastes, with a location on the square right by the ski slopes at Sälfjällstorget in Lindvallen. These three restaurants, along with Sälenstugan Original and Olarsgården, mean Sälfjällstorget has a broad menu of flavours to offer to suit the whole family. Anyone visiting Sälenstugan Original in the afternoon can also bank on some really groovy après-ski.
In addition to Concept Stores' flagship store, which is a leader in mountain sports and sells the biggest brands, you'll also find Kaisers Skidbod, with its shop and ski rental, as well as the Volvo Showroom, where you can test drive Volvo's latest models. Perfect if you're looking to unwind with some skiing and shopping.
