Renewable to the Mountains
Together with OKQ8, we at SkiStar make it easier to travel with a lower climate footprint through the Renewable to the Mountains initiative. When you, as our guest, refuel with renewable diesel, known as HVO100, instead of fossil diesel, the greenhouse gas emissions from your journey can be reduced. That’s why we support you in choosing HVO100 when refuelling for your mountain trip in summer 2026.
Fuel Renewable – Fuel with a Discount
Switching to renewable diesel should be easy, and together with OKQ8 we cover part of the cost. SkiStar and OKQ8 offer a discount of SEK 2 per litre But how does this work in practice when the mountains are calling and your car is packed to the brim? Here are the steps to claim your discount:
- Become a SkiStar Member – it’s free and only takes a quick click here.
- You have booked or are planning a mountain getaway with us (Medium or Large Pass for at least 2 days, or accommodation for at least 2 nights).
- Once you’re a member and your trip is registered in your SkiStar Member profile, you’ll receive 2 discount codes giving you 2 SEK off per liter when you refuel HVO100 at OKQ8’s staffed stations. Find your HVO100 station here.
- You’ll receive the codes 4 days before your arrival date or Summer Pass start date.
- The discount applies when paying at the counter. At the staffed OKQ8 station, choose a pump with HVO100. Ask the staff to start the pump, fill up with HVO100, and then show one of the codes from your SkiStar Member profile – easiest via the SkiStar app.
Terms for the offer*
- Valid for anyone who is or becomes a SkiStar Member and is over 18 years old.
- This applies to you if you have a booking for the summer season 2026 with a Medium or Large Pass (Sälen, Åre, Trysil or Hemsedal), booked for at least 2 days or 2 nights at SkiStar destinations.
- The offer is valid from 16/06/2026 while supplies of discount codes last, or no later than 31/10/2026.
- Maximum one code per refueling occasion.
- If you have a season pass or subscription booking (SkiStar All Summer, local season pass and SkiStar All Year) with SkiStar, you will receive all your discount codes at once during the campaign period. With a season pass booking, you will receive 4 codes per booking.
- Not valid for bookings at Hammarbybacken.
- Valid at staffed OKQ8 stations that sell HVO100.
- Cannot be combined with other offers.
