Ready to get better at jumps? Jump Camp is for 10 to 16-year-olds who can already ride blue jumps and want to progress towards bigger features with skilled instructors.

Do you want help taking the next step towards red and black features? Then Jump Camp is for you.
Over two days during Trysil Bike Fest, you will get personal guidance, technique training and tips from experienced instructors. The camp is about building confidence, understanding the technique better and gaining more control in the air.
Our ambassador Adrian Tell and others will visit the camp to share their knowledge and experience.

The groups are divided by level, so everyone gets suitable challenges. The aim is for you to gain more confidence, improve your technique and feel safer on the bike.

Jump Camp is a social and educational camp for young riders who want to develop their biking skills during Trysil Bike Fest. Places are limited to 20, so it is worth booking early.
Who is Jump Camp suitable for?
Jump Camp is suitable for participants aged 10 to 16 who can ride blue jumps with good control and distance, and who want to continue developing their technique.
Participants must be comfortable biking in the Bike Park and able to assess their own speed, control and ability in the terrain.
What the camp includes
- Four sessions with an instructor

Number of places
Jump Camp has a maximum of 20 participants. Places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.
Mandatory equipment
- Full-face helmet
- Back protector
- Knee pads
Recommended equipment
- Chest protector
- Elbow pads
- Gloves
Food and drink
Participants must bring a water bottle and a simple snack, such as a bar, fruit or similar.
Safety
Safety is always the first priority. A thorough safety briefing will be held on the first day, and all participants must follow the instructors’ instructions and the camp’s safety rules.
Weather and conditions
The camp may be affected by weather, trail conditions and conditions in the Bike Park. The programme may be adjusted if necessary for safety reasons.
Allergies and special dietary requirements
Any special dietary requirements due to allergies or other needs must be stated when booking.
Jump Camp is organised by SkiStar Trysil. By booking, guardians and participants accept the following rules and guidelines.
Booking and cancellation
SkiStar’s booking terms apply to booking and cancellation.
Responsibility and insurance
- All participation is at the participant’s and guardian’s own responsibility and risk.
- It is the guardian’s responsibility to ensure that the child and any equipment brought to the camp are insured.
- Participants must assess the terrain, features and their own ability in relation to the level of difficulty.
- The organiser is not responsible for any injuries or accidents that may occur during the camp.
Safety and equipment
- A full-face helmet, back protector and knee pads are mandatory.
- A chest protector, elbow pads and gloves are recommended.
- Participants must bring a water bottle and a snack, such as a bar, fruit or similar.
- A thorough safety briefing will be held on the first day.
- All participants must follow the instructors’ instructions and the camp’s safety rules.
- The organiser may refuse participation if mandatory safety equipment is missing, or if the participant does not follow the safety rules.
Photo and film
By booking, guardians consent to the child being photographed and filmed during the camp.
The photos and films may be used in communication and marketing for Trysil Bike Fest, including on websites and social media.
Allergies and special dietary requirements
If there is a need for special dietary requirements due to allergies or other needs, this must be stated when booking.
