MS Weekend in Sälen
Welcome to the MS Weekend 2–5 October 2025 – a weekend designed for those living with multiple sclerosis (MS) and their loved ones. Experience connection, inspiration and peace in the stunning Scandinavian mountains.

Community, knowledge and renewed energy
Join us for a weekend filled with talks, discussion groups, a Q&A session with a doctor, guided hike, yoga and exercise – all tailored to suit different needs and abilities. You are free to choose the activities that work best for you.
A safe and inclusive environment
The weekend takes place at SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen, hosted by Malin Schulz from Mountain Soul, who has personal experience of living with MS. The event is organised in collaboration with Neuroförbundet Falun and Norra Dalarna.
A weekend for loved ones too
We understand how important it is that family and close friends also receive support and have the opportunity to connect with others in similar situations. That’s why both you and your loved ones are very welcome. Some activities and groups are shared, while others are separate to ensure everyone enjoys a meaningful and supportive weekend.
What’s included:
- Accommodation at SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen, 2 or 3 nights
- Breakfast buffet
- Sunday brunch
- Lunch on Friday and/or Saturday (depending on arrival)
- One-course dinner on Thursday and/or Friday, including coffee and cake (depending on arrival day)
- Welcome mingling with a glass of sparkling wine on Friday
- Three-course dinner on Saturday

- Yoga sessions, mountain meditation, hike, talks and activities

Accessibility and food
SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen is designed so that everyone can take part. We offer aids such as shower chairs and have a limited number of adapted apartments.
We also provide food and drink tailored to allergies and other dietary needs.

Adaptive skiing in Sälen
Here in Sälen we are proud to welcome all skiers. We can offer ski lessons for all different types of permanent functional disabilities both for sitting and standing skiing. We also offer equipment rental.
Welcome home to SkiStar Lodge Lindvallen
The hotel is located at the foot of Lindvallen's lifts and slope, right next to the popular cross-country skiing trails. Just a stone's throw away is Svansjön lake, this summer's main activity area, where you'll find the climbing park, padel and bike trails. The heart of the hotel is Lodgebaren (The Lodge Bar), which boasts an open fire and comfortable sofa groups. Located next to the hotel is Experium, the experience centre with water park, bowling, spa and more. 28 April-25 May we are closed for renovation. Welcome back 26 May!
