Veslehorn (Veslehødn)

Experience one of Hemsedal’s most iconic mountain hikes, where the views stay with you almost the entire way. From the very start, you are already high in the mountains, and you hike through open alpine terrain with spectacular views in every direction. At the top of Veslehorn, a panoramic view awaits that truly gives you the authentic mountain feeling.

The hike starts at a high elevation, which quickly gives you the feeling of being deep in the mountains. After a short, steep beginning, the terrain opens up and becomes easier to walk. Along the way, you follow trails around the water before the final ascent to the summit.

Starting point and parking

Drive about 9 km east from Hemsedal center on RV52 toward Gol and turn off toward Torsetstølane. Follow the toll road up into the mountains until you reach Hornslie parking area, where the hike begins.
