Hydalshjallen

Short trip – big experience. Hydalshjallen is known for its spectacular rock formations and views over Hydalen.

This is a hike that gives a lot in return for the effort. You follow a less distinct trail through the terrain to a viewpoint that gives a truly special feeling of standing out on the edge of the mountain.

Starting point and parking

Drive toward Hydalen via Tuv and follow the road past Harahorn. Parking along the road before Vavatn. The trail starts a little before the parking area and is partly unmarked.
